Open up Outlook. From the menu bar, select -Tools-, and then click on -Accounts-.
In the window that appears, select the -Mail- tab and click -Add- and then -Mail- to begin the setup wizard.
An Internet Connection Wizard will open and ask you to answer some simple questions to set up your mail account.
First, types in your full name as you want recipients to see it. Click -Next- to continue.
Type in your e-mail address in the form such as johndoe@hostingworks.com.my Click -Next- to continue.
Next, use the drop-down menu to select -POP-, and in the field where it says -Incoming Mail (POP, IMAP, HTTP) Server- , enter "eg: mail.hostingworks.com.my" and in the field that says -Outgoing mail (SMTP) server- , type "eg: mail.hostingworks.com.my".
Key-in your user name in the -Account Name- field. The account name *MUST* be the FULL e-mail address .
Key-in the password for your e-mail account (Make sure the password is similar to the one created in the MailEnable System) . Make sure the -Remember password- box is checked . Then click the -Next- button.
Click the -Finish- button to complete the setup wizard.
You will now see your mail account under the Mail tab in the accounts window. There are still a few features you need to configure before you can access your e-mail. Click on the account and click on the -Properties- button.
A mail properties window will appear. Click the -Servers- tab.
Check the box at the bottom that says -My Server Requires Authentication-. Make sure -Log on using Secure Password Authentication- is UNCHECKED .
You will now see the account window that you originally accessed to begin setup. Click -Close- on this window.
Outlook will now prompt you for your e-mail password. Type it and click -Ok-.
If your password is accepted, the messages contained in your inbox will appear on the right, and then you can start sending and receiving mail with your new e-mail account.
